Home care in Maryland generally ranges from $32–$45 per hour, depending on the service and level of care. 24-hour shift care generally runs $700–$900/day; live-in care $400–$550/day. RN oversight is included in our rate, many agencies charge separately for it or don’t offer it at all.
For most families in Montgomery, Howard, and Frederick counties, care begins within 24–48 hours of the free nurse-led assessment. Urgent post-hospital discharges are often same-day.
