You don’t need us to tell you that ADLs — bathing, dressing, toileting — are vulnerable territory. You can already see your dad’s face when you bring it up: the averted eyes, the “I’m fine, I’m fine, I’m fine.”

All Comfi-Kare aides meet Maryland Department of Health training requirements and complete additional White Glove Caregiver Program™ certification in hands-on care, dignity protocols, and transfer safety.
Yes. Most of our clients use a blended plan. The RN builds a schedule that covers hygiene tasks plus engagement, meals, and errands.
This is one of the most common situations we see, and White Glove training specifically addresses it. Caregivers are trained to build trust gradually rather than force tasks. Many “refusing” seniors accept help within the first two weeks once the right match is in place.
Personal care in Maryland generally ranges from $35–$45 per hour in 2026, depending on the level of hands-on assistance required.
